Evolve

Evolve! I say,
He somersaults, twists and writhes,
Bites and gores,
Kisses the chains.

Sit, float, let go,
He isn't hearing,
Intently dejavuing,
Reminiscing some hurt,
Nursing.

He slips into sleep,
I whisper in his ears,
Dissolve...
He is comatose  now.

I look at him,
A mirror image,
Through somnolent eyes,
A painless heap.

Light germinates,
Hazy and weak,
Fledgling flecks,
Fireflies on moon.

He breathes now,
Breathes the wind,
The drift is him,
I look up,
And feel him soar.

He floats, he dances,
He whirls and melts,
He blooms and bursts,
He evolves.

A Buddha, Zoroaster,
A soul ablaze,
He glows lustrous,
Transcends the maze.
